About the Job

The Inside Sales Representative – Level 2 is one of our medication and program experts and detailer. He or she is a proficient communicator and helps the pharmacy optimize customer relationships while increasing account size and product revenue potential. The ISR-3 plays a critical role in helping us grow our business by identifying and converting mid-size and below accounts into larger opportunities by introducing our high-end concierge medications and programs.


  • Expected to convert accounts from low volume products to high volume products.
  • Analyze and contact accounts with the potential of becoming a larger size account by presenting additional top-line products and programs.
  • Expected to revive deceased or decreasing accounts by introducing top-line products and programs.
  • Communicates awareness to low-size accounts and decent-size accounts using low volume products of minimum order policies, longer service times, possible higher prices, and specific product lists to choose from.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, regulatory changes, etc. + communicates to Director of Sales and Products.
  • Updates CRM profiles with detailed and accurate account information and communication notes.
  • Exhibits established sales operating procedures and best practices.
  • Always communicates facts and never makes invalidated claims.
  • Expected to maintain a minimum number of outgoing communications via phone and email daily.
  • Meets expected accounts regularly and regularly exceeds metrics and KPIs.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Customer-centric + Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to interact effectively with potential customers via phone and email.
  • High intellectual curiosity and integrity.
  • Accurately pronounce medical and pharmaceutical terminology.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma/GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Language Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Contact Management systems; Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software; and Word Processing software.
