Appointed President of Wells Pharma Houston on April 27, 2021, Tony Schwartz has been the driving force in assembling the Houston team, preparing Wells Pharma facilities and product lines, and providing consistent leadership since being named Vice President in August 2019.

Mr. Schwartz has over 22 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, in sales, operations, and successful management of P&L. He started his career in pharmaceutical sales and has received multiple awards for his achievements, including Rookie of the Year, the President’s Cup, and Hospital Sales Executive of the Year, with such companies as Johnson & Johnson, Abbot Labs, and Forest Pharmaceuticals.

Over the last decade, he has held several senior leadership roles for companies in the 503B Outsourcing industry, including General Manager, VPs of Operations, and Director of Sales. Schwartz has developed and executed strategic launch and growth plans for many new products and has delivered strong company-wide results in growing revenue, meeting regulatory requirements, expanding operations, and attracting top-notch talent.
