As Wells Pharma’s Vice President of Quality Assurance, Mrs. Mitchell brings a wealth of knowledge from various industries, as well as an impressive educational background including a BS in Biology from the University of Memphis, as well as BS and MS degrees in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University.
Her diverse background includes nearly 20 years of experience in a variety of healthcare segments, including pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and medical devices. She joined Wells Pharma after serving in numerous high-profile Quality Control and Quality Assurance roles with major medical companies including GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Buckman Laboratories, KIK Custom Products, and Millstone Medical Outsourcing.
Mrs. Mitchell has successfully managed chemists, laboratory techs, internal/external auditors, trainers, document control, and validation departments throughout her career. She has spent her career committed to providing exceptional customer service by developing effective quality control systems which meet or exceed customers’ demands, as well as maintaining compliance with state and federal regulatory agencies.
